Private by design
Pedals connects the terminal sessions on your computer to your own iPhone. Terminal input, output, titles, working directories, and pairing encryption secrets are end-to-end encrypted. Our service relays encrypted bytes and cannot read their contents.
Information we process
To operate the service, Pedals processes randomly generated device and computer identifiers, device binding state, connection status, active terminal counts, push notification endpoints, and limited network and operational data used for security, rate limiting, and reliability.
How information is used
- Connect your paired devices and route encrypted sessions.
- Synchronize terminal availability and deliver status notifications.
- Prevent abuse, investigate failures, and protect the service.
Pedals does not sell personal information, show advertising, or use third-party tracking.
Storage and deletion
The service stores identity and binding records, current status counts, and push endpoint state. It does not store terminal content. Disconnecting or resetting a device revokes its credentials; you may also contact us to request deletion of service records associated with your devices.
